The Balancing Act

Balance has become big…finding balance, coming from a place of balance, balancing all the intricacies and demands of life.

 

Seeking balance is a life long quest. There is just so much to balance; family, friends, job, diet, exercise, creations and purpose, your bank account…

 

Ultimately it comes down to energy. Everything is made up of energy and energies we struggle to balance are vast. This balancing act starts from within our own bodies. The ancient energetic system of the Chakras gives us a tool towards stepping into our own bodies and continually clearing out and soothing to find balance.

 

Like Yoga this is a practice, it is perpetual and never stops until we no longer need this vessel, our body. It starts with awareness, tuning into our bodies and noticing what we feel. The physical body is the jumping off point towards dipping our toes into the watery aspects of our subtle & emotional bodies. There is much information and wisdom stored in the body, we only need to practice receiving.

 

How to do this? Spiritual practices such as prayer and meditation, yoga and other movement based lineages. Ritual and journaling, creating, silence, listening. Finding a healing modality which taps in like Reiki or Thai Bodywork, acupuncture, Shamanic journeying, even a solitary walk in the woods.

 

Most importantly gifting yourself space. Time and space to practice the balancing act. If we do not slow down, stop and allow ourselves the time to tune into our essence we cannot find a moments worth of balance.

 

Because it is fleeting, one moment balance, the next something gets thrown in your direction Boom. Imbalance.

 

Dare to do this for yourself, turn your back on the cultural messaging and endless expectations and tune in. Find the time to practice the balancing act. It can be accessed, it is part of who you really are, your essence & who you were born to be.
