Community or Sangha

[mkd_blockquote text=”The Sangha is a community where there should be harmony, peace, and understanding. This is something created by our daily work together. If love is present in the community, if we have been nourished by the harmony in the community, then we will never move away from love” title_tag=”h3″ width=”60″]

In Eastern traditions community or ‘Sangha’ takes on a rich and tangible meaning. Creating and living within Sangha is deeper than community, it nourishes like-minded spirits to live out their dharma; or soul’s purpose.

In the Christian tradition we are reminded that true friends are like salt; the food is ok without it, but made all the more delicious with the addition of salt.
At The Whispering Cave we like salt, and we like people, and we LOVE seeing our Sangha growing.

New people enter our space everyday and we hear over and over how good it feels, how warm and nurturing; “good energy.” That good energy is coming from YOU, from the growing Sangha.

You see, we are meant to connect, indeed our connection to one another is part of the energy. Not only human individual to human individual but to Source, to light, to earth, and all the elements. When authentic love and support are lifted up, when awareness of self, source and others is part of our daily lives, then true contentment is possible.

The power of the Sangha is not only in happiness & acceptance but real empowerment come when members of the tribe join energies to lift up the collective consciousness. To bring light and love to others who may not be as fortunate has always been part of the vision for The Whispering Cave.

As blessed individuals who have the hearts and resources to help let us know what sort of outreach you would like us as Sangha to pursue. Should we adopt a family? Go as Sangha to serve food or pack food for Feed my starving children?
Together the possibilities are endless.

The Ladies of the Cave know of endless possibilities, it is your support and love that are filling our hearts and days.

Together, as Sangha we take care of each other, and we can raise the vibration of the community around us.
