We are in the darkness now. Literally and figuratively, the dark days, and the death toll of the pandemic are suffocating. It is the darkest time of the year, where the days get shorter and shorter leading up to the Solstice on Dec. 21. The longest and darkest of days.
But this year, in a year of firsts, this year will bring a Bright Star. This is a science based planetary phenomena which has not occurred in 800 years. Astronomers and Astrologers alike are jazzed about the rare conjunction between two planets who rarely align. Saturn and Jupiter will appear to nearly collide on December 21st, the Winter Solstice.
A star will shine bright this night! These two planets have not joined like this since 1226. Many astronomers believe the Star of Bethlehem to have been a conjunction between Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.
A Christmas star.
The planet Saturn symbolizes great and hard won change. Away from the old paradigm creating a new way of being. Jupiter is all about growth, healing and expansion. Governing long distance travel, big business, wealth, higher education and the law.
Whoa…a bright star which heralds massive change in the structures we have come to depend upon and promises a new way? A fundamental and intrinsic change towards evolution? The age of Aquarius!
We are in transition from the Piscean Age towards Aquarius. The Age of Pisces brought us the major religions and the awareness of the battle between the ego and the soul. It ushered in a time where we recognized the need for kindness, compassion, and sacrifice, but engaged in a constant push and pull between these ideals and the voracious appetite of the ego.
We see evidence of this struggle all around us. Covid has lit that baby up like a Christmas tree.
And transitions are hard.
Let this bright star shine some hope into your soul.
The Aquarian Age will soothe the war between the ego and the soul. Fusing these energies and bringing us together with the desire for the highest good of all. Eradicating the survivalist instincts of the ego. Hallelujah!
The ego creates division. The soul craves inclusion. This bright star promises a future where all people are finally created equal and treated as such. Progress towards the true meaning of freedom; the ability for each individual to live in love and peace. When the ego does not need to fight for survival, when the basic needs are in place, the soul is free to grow. To create and to authentically love.
There is still work to be done and Rome was not built in a day. But Rome no longer serves the higher good. That structure is outdated and dangerous. A new way is coming, a bright star of hope and innovation, shining down on all of us on the darkest day of the year.
